Privacy Policy

1. Information you submit

We process the information you choose to provide for a review, which may include project and quote details, location information such as a ZIP code or city, selections about your kitchen, written notes, and uploaded quote files. Do not submit information that is not needed for the service.

2. How we use submitted information

Submitted information is used to prepare an AI-assisted analysis, produce a limited preview, create a full report when applicable, support report access, and protect the service from misuse. We do not use the submitted information for unrelated advertising or data selling.

3. AI processing

Information needed to generate the analysis is sent to the AI processing service configured for KitchenCheck AI. The processing and retention practices of that provider are governed by the provider configuration and applicable provider terms and policies. AI output may be incomplete or inaccurate, so reports are informational and should be independently verified.

4. Reports and retention

Generated reports and their payment state are stored in the service database so the preview, payment flow, and paid report can work across page reloads. Unpaid reports are designed to expire after approximately 24 hours. Paid report access is subject to the service's report availability and expiration rules.

5. Technical information

The service may process technical request information needed to operate and protect it, including an IP address or forwarded IP information used for request rate limiting and abuse prevention. The browser may store a report identifier locally to help restore an in-progress report after a refresh.

The website may record limited interaction events in the browser, such as starting or completing an analysis or checkout-related actions, to support the operation and debugging of the service. When project analytics is enabled, the website may send these event names and limited non-identifying properties to Replit-hosted project analytics. The analytics events do not include quote text, full reports, report access tokens, payment credentials or other free-form user content, and the current implementation does not send these events to a third-party analytics service.

The website loads Paddle Checkout resources and Google Fonts. When these resources are loaded, the relevant provider may receive ordinary technical request information, such as an IP address, browser or device information, or request metadata, according to its own policies.

6. Payment processing

The Full Quote Check Report is a $9.90 USD one-time purchase. Paddle processes payment information and payment status for the checkout. KitchenCheck AI does not store full card numbers or directly process card credentials.

7. Service providers

KitchenCheck AI relies on hosting and database infrastructure, Paddle for payment processing and checkout resources, Google Fonts, and an AI processing provider for analysis. Each provider may process information according to its applicable terms and policies.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical measures intended to protect information, including application-level safeguards. However, no online service or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

9. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or information about personal data processed through the service. Contact us so we can review your request and explain any limits that apply.

10. Children

The service is not directed to children who cannot legally agree to these terms. We do not knowingly request information from children for the purpose of using this service.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service changes. The updated version will be posted here with a revised date.
